Milka is one of the world's most iconic chocolate brands, instantly recognizable by its lilac packaging and Alpine cow mascot. The brand originated in Switzerland in 1901, created by Philippe Suchard as a blend of 'Milch' (milk) and 'Kakao' (cocoa). It quickly became a leader in the European market for its smooth texture derived from Alpine milk.

Today, Milka is part of the global snacking giant Mondelez International. While its roots are Swiss, the majority of its production for the European market occurs in Lörrach, Germany, and Bludenz, Austria.
