Café El Morro Espresso Coffee

Café El Morro is a heritage-rich coffee brand that traces its roots back to pre-revolutionary Cuba. Named after the iconic Castillo del Morro at the entrance to Havana Harbor, the brand was established by the Souto family. Following their move to the United States, the brand was re-established to serve the Cuban exile community and coffee lovers seeking a traditional Latin-style espresso.

Today, Café El Morro is owned and manufactured by Rowland Coffee Roasters, Inc., based in Miami, Florida. In 2011, Rowland Coffee Roasters was acquired by J.M. Smucker Company, a major American food and beverage conglomerate. While the brand maintains its cultural identity and specific roasting profiles associated with Cuban coffee traditions, its production and ownership are firmly rooted in the United States.
