In early 2024, the business was acquired by Klark and Brooke Quinn, the owners of the Australian business Tubby’s Ice Cream. This acquisition returned Sara Lee Australia to private Australian family ownership, ensuring that production remains local and the iconic red boxes continue to be made using Australian ingredients where possible.
