Klarborg Nisser, formerly known as Etly Klarborg Gammeldags Nisser, are iconic Danish Christmas collectibles designed by the artist Etly Klarborg. The brand was founded in 1986 in Moseby, Denmark, inspired by the designer's personal childhood memories and the traditional Scandinavian folklore of the 'Nisse'. Each figurine is uniquely named and has a distinct personality, which has helped the brand become a cultural staple in Danish homes during the holiday season.

While the creative design, prototyping, and brand management remain rooted in Denmark, the mass production of the figurines is carried out in China to meet global demand. Despite the overseas manufacturing, the brand maintains a strong 'Danish Design' identity and is currently managed as a family-led enterprise by Etly Klarborg and her sons through their company.
