Rugfras Original breakfast cereal

Rugfras is a classic Scandinavian breakfast cereal known for its high fiber content and crunchy rye pillows. Originally launched by the Quaker Oats Company to cater to the Nordic market's preference for rye, it has become a staple in Danish households.

Today, the brand is part of the PepsiCo global portfolio following their acquisition of Quaker Oats in 2001. While the branding remains deeply rooted in Scandinavian health traditions (indicated by the Keyhole label), the ultimate ownership lies with the American multinational PepsiCo. In Denmark, distribution and local management are handled by Orkla Foods, which manages several Quaker-branded products in the Nordic region under license or partnership agreements.
