Carola Mineral Water

Carola is a historic mineral water brand deeply rooted in the Alsace region of France. It was discovered in 1888 in Ribeauvillé by Dr. Staub and has since become a symbol of regional heritage in eastern France. The water is sourced and bottled directly at the spring in Alsace, maintaining its purity and local identity.

Over the years, the brand has undergone several ownership changes. After being part of the Nestlé Waters portfolio for many years, it was acquired by the Spadel Group in 2013. Spadel, a Belgian family-owned company specializing in natural mineral water, continues to manage the brand. Carola is well-known for its environmental initiatives, such as the 'bourdonne d'idées pour la biodiversité' campaign (buzzing with ideas for biodiversity), which focuses on protecting local ecosystems and pollinators around its catchment areas.
