Yema Auto

Yema Auto, officially known as Sichuan Yema Automobile Co., Ltd., is a Chinese automotive brand with a history dating back to the 1980s. The brand initially gained recognition for producing light off-road vehicles and passenger cars heavily inspired by European designs. Over the decades, it has transitioned into a developer of modern SUVs, MPVs, and increasingly, new energy vehicles (electric cars).

In 2019, the brand underwent a significant ownership change when it was acquired by the Levdeo Group (Shedong Group), a major player in the low-speed electric vehicle (LSEV) market. This acquisition was intended to bolster Yema's production capabilities and pivot its focus toward the growing green energy sector in China's domestic market. Today, manufacturing remains centralized in China, with major production facilities located in Mianyang and Chengdu.
