Anki was an American robotics and artificial intelligence startup that became famous for its sophisticated consumer robots like Cozmo and Vector, as well as the robotic racing game Anki Overdrive. Founded by graduates of Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute, the company combined high-tech AI with physical play.

Despite its innovation and rapid growth, Anki faced financial difficulties and ceased operations in 2019. During its peak, manufacturing operations were primarily based in China to scale the production of their complex electronic and mechanical components. Following the company's closure, the intellectual property and assets were acquired by Digital Dream Labs (DDL).

Digital Dream Labs, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is the current ultimate owner of the brand and its core assets. They have focused on maintaining the existing robot fleet and developing new iterations of the products. The brand remains a significant name in the educational and entertainment robotics sector under this new ownership.
