Rydbergs is a venerable Swedish food brand that traces its heritage back to 1937 when Bertil and Inez Rydberg began whisking mayonnaise in their fish shop on Södermalm, Stockholm. The brand became a staple in Swedish households, particularly noted for pioneering hamburger dressing and potato salads in the 1970s.

While the brand was once owned by Arla, it was eventually acquired by the Norwegian food group Agra A/S during the 1990s. Today, it is operated by Foodmark Sweden AB, a subsidiary of Agra. Although some production historically took place in Denmark and Gotland, the company consolidated its operations in a modern facility in Albyberg, Haninge, near Stockholm. This move ensures that professional products, such as this garlic dressing, are manufactured in Sweden using consolidated regional recipes.
