Margão Tomilho Folhas

Margão is the leading brand of herbs and spices in Portugal, with a history deeply connected to the spice trade roots in the Portuguese colony of Goa, from which it takes its name. The brand was founded in Portugal to provide high-quality aromatic herbs and seasonings to the local market.

In 2000, Margão was acquired by the American spice giant McCormick & Company as part of its acquisition of the Ducros business. Today, while the brand maintains its strong Portuguese identity and heritage, the majority of its products are processed and packaged at McCormick's modern facilities, notably in Carpentras, France, which serves as a central hub for their European operations. Some specialized production and distribution still occur within Portugal to serve the Iberian market.
