These sneakers are part of a special collaboration between the skateboarding brand DC Shoes and the estate of the legendary neo-expressionist artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. The design features Basquiat's iconic crown logo on the tongue and his signature graffiti-style artwork on the side panels. Originally released as part of a capsule collection in 2021, the model shown is the 'Manual,' a classic vulcanized silhouette that serves as a canvas for the artist's subversive 1982 works.

DC Shoes was founded in 1994 by Ken Block and Damon Way in California, quickly becoming a titan in the action sports world.
