J'hayber is an iconic Spanish sports and casual footwear brand founded in 1972 in Elche, Alicante, a region historically known for its footwear industry. The brand was established by brothers Rafael and Mariano Bernabéu, who introduced advanced manufacturing techniques to the Spanish market, such as the first polyurethane injection machine for creating durable, lightweight soles.

The brand gained immense popularity in the 1980s with legendary models like the 'New Olimpo', which became a cultural staple in Spain, recognized for its resistance and 'Made in Spain' heritage. While the company has expanded its catalog to include technical padel gear and industrial safety footwear (J'hayber Works), it remains deeply rooted in its original Spanish identity and continues to be managed by the founding Bernabéu family. Production still maintains a significant presence in Elche, although some components or specific lines may be sourced internationally to meet global demand.
