Laboratoire SVR is a renowned French dermocosmetic brand founded in 1962 by Simone and Robert Véret, a visionary couple consisting of a pharmacist and an aesthetician. The brand's name, SVR, is derived from their initials, reflecting its deeply personal and family-oriented beginnings. From its inception, the brand focused on developing high-concentration dermatological solutions suitable for even the most sensitive skin types, bridgeing the gap between medical treatment and cosmetic care.

Originally a legacy family business, SVR entered a significant new chapter in 2014 when it was acquired from a safeguard procedure by the investment group HLD alongside entrepreneur Didier Tabary. This partnership led to a successful rebranding and international expansion. In June 2024, Didier Tabary's holding company, Kresk, became the sole owner after acquiring HLD's remaining stake. Today, the products are primarily manufactured at the company's own facilities in France, ensuring the rigorous pharmaceutical standards for which the brand is known globally.
