Aberfeldy 12 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Aberfeldy is a renowned Highland single malt Scotch whisky distillery founded by John Dewar & Sons, Ltd. in 1896. Located in the center of Scotland at the edge of the Highland boundary, the distillery began production in 1898. It is primarily known as the heart of the Dewar’s Blended Scotch, but its single malts, such as the 12-year-old expression, have gained significant global acclaim.

The brand passed from the Dewar family into the hands of several larger corporations over the 20th century. In 1998, as part of a major industry consolidation, the Aberfeldy distillery and the Dewar’s brand were acquired by Bacardi Limited. Today, Aberfeldy continues to be distilled and bottled in Scotland under the stewardship of Bacardi, which maintains its heritage as a classic Highland malt.
