Andechser Natur is a leading German organic dairy brand, celebrated for its long-standing commitment to sustainability and ecological purity. Founded in 1908 in the Bavarian town of Andechs, the company has evolved from a small local cheese dairy into one of Germany's most recognized names in organic milk processing. The brand is synonymous with the philosophy of 'leaving natural things natural,' a credo that guides its production of approximately 150 different organic products.

The manufacturing process takes place at the company's facility in Upper Bavaria, where milk is sourced from hundreds of regional organic dairy farms. The company is particularly noted for its industry-leading transparency; since 2008, it has allowed consumers to trace their specific product back to the source farm using the best-before date. Ownership has remained within the Scheitz family for over a century, despite a brief period where the French group Savencia (formerly Bongrain) held a minority stake. Today, the dairy is fully family-owned and managed by Barbara Scheitz, representing the family's third and fourth generations.
