Trops Mango

Trops is Spain's leading agricultural cooperative specializing in subtropical fruit production, particularly mangos and avocados. Founded in 1979 and headquartered in Vélez-Málaga, Andalusia, Trops brings together several thousand partner farmers across southern Spain and Portugal.

Trops mangos—frequently the Osteen variety—are cultivated in the microclimates of the Axarquía (Málaga) and Granada tropical coasts and distributed widely across European supermarket shelves, including in Sweden during harvest season.

The brand is owned and operated directly by SAT 2803 Trops, an autonomous agricultural cooperative owned collectively by its member growers, meaning there is no external corporate conglomerate owner.
