Brabantia Bo Pedal Bin

The Bo Pedal Bin is a signature product designed and manufactured by Brabantia, a renowned Dutch family-founded homeware and kitchenware brand. First introduced to merge high-end interior aesthetics with practical waste separation, the Bo series has become one of Brabantia's flagship modern collections.

Brabantia was founded in 1919 in the Dutch town of Aalst under the original name Van Elderen & Co. Over more than a century of operation, the company established itself as a premier European producer of durable household accessories, waste bins, laundry care, and food storage essentials. The brand remains privately held by the Van Elderen family through Brabantia Holdings B.V., preserving its heritage and commitment to sustainable production certified by initiatives such as Cradle-to-Cradle.

While Brabantia's global headquarters remain in Valkenswaard, Netherlands, its primary production facilities for high-grade metal and plastic waste bins—including the Bo series—are located in Pelt, Belgium, alongside secondary assembly and distribution facilities across Europe and partner plants in Asia.
