Milka is a world-renowned brand of chocolate confectionery famous for its iconic lilac packaging and Alpine milk recipe. The brand traces its roots back to 1901 in Switzerland, originally created by Swiss chocolatier Philippe Suchard.

Throughout the 20th century, Suchard merged into Interfood and later Jacobs Suchard, which was acquired by Kraft Foods in 1990. Following the corporate restructuring of Kraft Foods in 2012, the snack and confectionery division became Mondelēz International, an American multinational food and beverage giant headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.

Today, Milka chocolate products are manufactured in several European facilities, primarily in Lörrach (Germany), Bludenz (Austria), and Svoge (Bulgaria), and distributed across Spain and global markets by Mondelēz España Commercial, S.L.
