Philips Hue Smart LED Bulb

This product is a smart LED lighting product from Philips / Philips Hue, manufactured by Signify. It displays the barcode 8720169076709 and explicitly states "Made in China" on the packaging.

The Philips brand traces its origins back to Eindhoven, the Netherlands, where Gerard Philips and his father Frederik founded Philips & Co. in 1891 to produce carbon-filament lamps and other lighting products. In 2016, Philips spun off its lighting division into Philips Lighting N.V., which was subsequently rebranded as Signify N.V. in 2018. Signify continues to use the Philips brand name under a licensing agreement.

Today, Signify N.V., headquartered in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, is the ultimate owner and operator of the smart lighting lines such as Philips Hue and WiZ. Most consumer lighting components and bulbs are manufactured in high-volume electronics facilities in China.
