GEODIS is a prominent French-headquartered global supply chain operator and logistics provider. The company traces its origins back to 1904 with the establishment of Compagnie Générale d'Affrètement (CGA), which later became part of Calberson and eventually unified under the GEODIS brand name in 1995.

As a comprehensive service provider, GEODIS does not manufacture physical goods, but rather delivers transport, distribution, contract logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain optimization services worldwide, with operations spread across more than 160 countries.

GEODIS is fully owned by SNCF (Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français), France's state-owned national railway company. Within the SNCF Group, GEODIS forms a core pillar of SNCF's freight transport and logistics division.
