Katjes VitaMinis

Katjes VitaMinis are vegan fruit gummy candies enriched with vitamins and fruit juice. The Katjes brand was founded in 1950 by Xaver Fassin in Emmerich am Rhein, Germany, starting with cat-shaped liquorice sweets (Katjes means 'little cat' in Dutch).

Katjes produces its confections in Germany at modern production facilities including its main headquarters in Emmerich am Rhein and other specialized candy factories. The brand is famous for completely avoiding animal gelatine across its range and using only plant-based ingredients.

The brand is owned by the Katjes Group (Katjes Fassin GmbH + Co. KG), an independent, family-owned German confectionery and investment holding company.
