DJI Air Drone

The DJI Air series is a family of lightweight, foldable camera drones developed and manufactured by DJI (SZ DJI Technology Co., Ltd.). Originally introduced with the Mavic Air in 2018, the Air series was created to bridge the gap between DJI's ultra-portable compact models and its high-end professional Mavic drones, offering advanced aerial photography capabilities, obstacle avoidance sensors, and extended flight times in an easily transportable form factor.

DJI was founded in 2006 by Frank Wang (Wang Tao) in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. It is privately held and has grown to become the world's leading manufacturer of civilian drones and aerial imaging technology. DJI continues to be owned primarily by its founder and early leadership team, with head offices and main production facilities concentrated in Shenzhen, China. Local distribution and sales in Germany and Europe are coordinated through regional subsidiaries, notably DJI GmbH headquartered in Frankfurt am Main.
