Carlsberg Danish Pilsner Lager Beer

Carlsberg Danish Pilsner is a globally renowned pilsner-style lager known for its balanced taste, crisp bitterness, and distinctive green packaging.

The Carlsberg brand was founded in 1847 by J.C. Jacobsen in Copenhagen, Denmark, named after his son Carl. It pioneered modern brewing science, famously isolating the pure lager yeast strain Saccharomyces carlsbergensis.

Today, Carlsberg is owned by the multinational Carlsberg Group, headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. For the UK market, the beer is produced domestically under Carlsberg Marston's Brewing Company (CMBC), primarily brewed at their historic brewery in Northampton, England.
