Worx WX317.2 Impact Drill

Worx is a well-known international brand of power tools and lawn and garden equipment. The brand was established in 2004 by the Positec Tool Corporation, founded in Suzhou, China, by Don Gao in 1994.

While Worx products often feature European styling and engineering—highlighted on packaging by notes such as "Italian Design"—the primary manufacturing footprint is situated in Positec's manufacturing facilities in China. The ultimate corporate parent is Positec Tool Corporation, which operates globally across North America, Europe, and Asia.
