Lidl Fresh Cherry Tomatoes

This image shows an in-store PLU/internal barcode label (20316488) on a clear plastic clamshell container of fresh cherry tomatoes sold at Lidl supermarkets in Spain. Lidl uses internal restricted circulation barcodes beginning with '20' to '29' for packaged fresh fruits and vegetables.

Fresh tomatoes distributed by Lidl in Spain are predominantly grown and packed domestically by Spanish agricultural producers and cooperatives, primarily located in regions such as Almería, Murcia, and Granada.

Lidl originated in Germany and is an integral part of the Schwarz Gruppe, a privately owned retail conglomerate based in Neckarsulm, Germany. In Spain, operations and distribution are handled through its local affiliate, Lidl Supermercados S.A.U.
