Nancy Colección Jeans Doll

Nancy is one of the most iconic Spanish fashion doll brands, first created in 1968 by the renowned Spanish toymaker Famosa (Fábricas Agrupadas de Muñecas de Onil S.A.) in Onil (Alicante), Spain. Designed by Agustín Juan Alexander, Nancy became a generational cultural symbol in Spain throughout the 1970s and 1980s.

The featured item is the 'Nancy Colección Jeans' (Re-edición 2024), a numbered collector's re-issue of a classic vintage design. While originally designed and managed in Spain, manufacturing for Famosa's modern production lines, including collector re-editions, is carried out primarily in specialized facilities in China.

In 2019, Famosa was acquired by the major Italian multinational toy company Giochi Preziosi Group. Consequently, the ultimate owner of Nancy is Giochi Preziosi, headquartered in Cavenago di Brianza, Italy, while Famosa continues to operate as its key Iberian subsidiary.
