Renowned for its iconic depiction of a traditional Scottish shot-putter in a kilt, the brand became a staple breakfast porridge across Scotland and the wider United Kingdom.

Manufacturing Location

True to its label, Scott's oats are traditionally milled in the historic town of Cupar in Fife, Scotland. The oats are sourced predominantly from Scottish farms and processed locally through kilning and rolling to produce thick, wholesome jumbo oats.

Ownership Evolution

The brand was acquired by Quaker Oats in 1982, uniting two of the world's most recognizable oat producers. Later, in 2001, the Quaker Oats Company was acquired by the global food and beverage giant PepsiCo. Today, Scott's operates as part of PepsiCo's UK cereal portfolio (alongside Quaker Oats UK), headquartered in Purchase, New York, United States.
