Fruco Clásico Tomate Frito

Fruco Tomate Frito is a traditional fried tomato sauce widely marketed in Spain. Originally founded in Spain with its traditional recipe dating back to 1959, Fruco became a staple canned and bottled vegetable sauce brand. The brand was historically managed by Spanish canning companies and came under multinational food conglomerates before becoming part of GB Foods (The Gallina Blanca Star Group).

Today, Fruco belongs to Agrolimen S.A., the prominent Spanish family-owned holding company that owns GB Foods. Production of Fruco tomate frito sold in Spain is carried out domestically in Spain, utilizing Spanish tomatoes.

Note: In Latin America (notably Colombia), another well-known sauce brand named 'Fruco' exists, which is owned by Unilever. However, the Spanish tomato sauce brand Fruco shown here is entirely distinct and belongs to Spain's GB Foods / Agrolimen.
