Armor All Car Care

Armor All is a world-renowned brand specializing in automotive care, particularly known for its protectants, wipes, and tire shine products. The brand's history dates back to 1962 in the United States when Alan Rypinski discovered a formula intended to protect rubber, plastic, and vinyl from UV radiation and ozone. Originally known as Tri-don (non-dirt spelled backwards), it was renamed Armor All in 1972.

Throughout its history, Armor All has been owned by several major corporations, including Clorox and Avista Capital Partners. In 2015, it was acquired by Spectrum Brands, but the automotive care division was eventually sold to Energizer Holdings in 2019. Today, Energizer Holdings continues to manage the brand as part of its global auto care portfolio, ensuring its presence in retail stores worldwide.
