Over the decades, it evolved into a design icon known for its functionalist aesthetics under the direction of Dieter Rams.

Today, the manufacturing of Braun products is distributed worldwide across countries such as Germany, China, and Poland, depending on the specific product line. The ownership is currently split between two major conglomerates: Procter & Gamble (P&G) owns the brand for grooming products like electric shavers and epilators, while the De'Longhi Group owns the perpetual license for Braun-branded small kitchen appliances such as blenders and hand mixers.
