While the brand remains an iconic symbol of Australian food culture, its ownership has transitioned through major global entities. For several decades, it was owned by the American food giant Campbell Soup Company. However, in 2019, it was sold to Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR), a prominent American global investment firm.

Today, the brand operates as part of the Arnott's Group. Despite the shift to American private equity ownership, the majority of manufacturing continues to take place within Australia at primary facilities in Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide to maintain its heritage and quality standards.
