Mentos Storming chewing gum

Mentos is a globally recognized brand originally founded in the Netherlands during the 1930s by the van Melle brothers. It became famous for its scotch mints and later expanded into a wide variety of chewy candies and sugar-free gums like the Mentos Storming Peppermint shown here.

Today, the brand is owned by Perfetti Van Melle, a major Italian-Dutch multinational corporation formed after the merger of the Italian Perfetti group and the Dutch Van Melle company in 2001. Mentos products are manufactured in numerous facilities worldwide, including locations in Europe, Asia, and Brazil, to serve different regional markets. Performance-wise, it remains one of the leading confectionery brands globally, controlled from its dual headquarters in Italy and the Netherlands.
