Originally celebrated for inventing the modern wetsuit, the brand has expanded into a global powerhouse for surf, snow, and lifestyle apparel. Today, the ownership of the brand is split geographically. Since 2007, the worldwide rights to the O'Neill brand have been owned by the Dutch brand management company Logo International BV. However, O'Neill Inc. continues to operate and maintain certain rights within the United States market. Manufacturing is outsourced to a diverse network of suppliers across Asia, Europe, and the Americas to support its global distribution network.
