Zedda Piras is an iconic brand of Mirto, a traditional Sardinian liqueur made from the berries of the myrtle plant. Founded in 1854 in Alghero, Sardinia, by Francesco Zedda, the brand has become one of the most recognized ambassadors of Sardinian spirits. The product is renowned for its traditional production methods, using wild berries harvested by hand on the island.

While the brand maintains its deep Sardinian heritage and continues to be produced in Italy, it is no longer an independent local company. Since the mid-1990s, it has been part of the Campari Group (Davide Campari-Milano N.V.). This transition allowed the brand to expand its reach globally while maintaining its authentic manufacturing roots in Sardinia.
