Brancamenta liqueur

Brancamenta is a mint-flavored version of the world-famous Fernet-Branca amaro. It was created in the 1960s by the Fratelli Branca Distillerie in Milan, Italy, following a trend where consumers were adding mint syrup to their Fernet to make it more refreshing. The brand is deeply rooted in Italian liquor history, dating back to Bernandino Branca's original 1845 recipe.

Today, the brand remains under the control of the founding family through the Fratelli Branca Distillerie S.r.l. While its spiritual and production home is in Milan, the company also operates a significant distillery in Argentina to serve the massive South American market, where Fernet is exceptionally popular. The ownership has resisted large-scale beverage conglomerate acquisitions, remaining one of the most prominent independent family-run spirits companies in the world.
