Historically an independent Danish family-run company, GripGrab was acquired in late 2023 by the Swedish company Thule Group. This acquisition allowed the brand to integrate into a global leader in outdoor products. Manufacturing takes place across multiple countries, primarily in Asia and Europe, depending on the specific textile requirements.

Now operating as a key brand within the Thule Group portfolio, GripGrab continues to focus on innovation and performance for cycling enthusiasts worldwide. The ownership remains within the Scandinavian region under the Swedish-headquartered parent company.
