Philips Airfryers are iconic kitchen appliances known for pioneering the healthy frying category with their patented 'RapidAir' technology. Originally developed under the Philips Domestic Appliances division, the brand has its roots in the Netherlands, where the Royal Philips company was founded over a century ago as a lighting manufacturer.

In recent years, the ownership of the Philips domestic appliance business underwent a major shift. In 2021, Royal Philips sold its Domestic Appliances division to Hillhouse Investment, a global private equity firm. This division now operates under the name Versuni. While the appliances continue to carry the trusted Philips brand name under a licensing agreement, they are managed and owned by Versuni, which is headquartered in Amsterdam and serves consumers globally with manufacturing hubs primarily located in China to leverage large-scale production efficiencies.
