Prince Polo is one of Poland's most iconic confectionery brands, famous for its chocolate-covered wafers. Originally introduced in 1955 by the Olza company in Cieszyn, the brand quickly became a staple in the Polish market and gained international fame, particularly in Iceland where it remains a top-selling chocolate bar.
Today, the production of Prince Polo continues to take place in Poland at the Olza factory in Cieszyn. Despite its local roots, the brand is managed by global snacking giant Mondelez International. The ownership transitioned through several corporate mergers, starting with Kraft Foods' acquisition of the parent company decades ago, ultimately landing with the spun-off global snacks division, Mondelez.
