Bienenwirtschaft Meissen is a historic honey brand based in the Saxon city of Meissen, Germany. Originally founded in 1949 during the Soviet occupation zone (SBZ) and later serving as the largest honey bottler in the German Democratic Republic (GDR), the company has a long-standing tradition in the honey industry.

Following the reunification of Germany, the company entered into a collaboration with the Munich-based family business Breitsamer & Ulrich. Since the 1990s, Bienenwirtschaft Meißen GmbH has been a 100% subsidiary of Breitsamer & Ulrich, allowing it to maintain its regional heritage while benefiting from the resources of a larger specialized group. The honey itself is bottled in Meissen, though the raw honey is sourced from various beekeepers, including local regional suppliers and international partners, to meet the specific requirements of the 'Blütentracht' blend.
