Macleans Protect Mild Mint toothpaste

Macleans is a well-known oral hygiene brand originally established in the United Kingdom in 1919 by Alex Maclean. Over the decades, the brand changed ownership and is today globally owned by Haleon, a multinational consumer healthcare company headquartered in the United Kingdom, which was spun off from GlaxoSmithKline. Macleans toothpaste products distributed in New Zealand are typically manufactured in facilities located across regions like Australia or Asia, catering to the local market with trusted cavity protection and fresh mint formulations.

Haleon operates as an independent consumer healthcare leader following its separation from GSK, focusing on oral health, pain relief, and respiratory care brands. The Macleans brand maintains a strong heritage in Commonwealth markets such as Australia and New Zealand, offering various formulations like Protect, Milk Teeth, and Extreme Clean to promote daily dental hygiene.
