Iams dog food

Iams is a well-known brand of pet food for dogs and cats founded in the United States in 1950 by animal nutritionist Paul Iams. The brand was acquired by Procter & Gamble in 1999. Later, in 2014, Procter & Gamble sold its pet food business, including the Iams brand in North America and several other regions, to Spectrum Brands, which then immediately sold it to Mars, Incorporated. Today, the Iams brand is owned globally by Mars, Incorporated, with the North American operations managed through its pet care subsidiary. Mars is headquartered in McLean, Virginia, United States, and is one of the world's leading confectionery and pet food manufacturers.
