Shelly Plus 1PM is an intelligent Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-operated smart relay designed to automate appliances and measure power consumption accurately. The Shelly brand was created by Allterco JSCo, a Bulgarian technology and IoT holding company founded in Sofia, Bulgaria.

In 2023, Allterco JSCo officially rebranded to Shelly Group SE to focus directly on its rapidly expanding global IoT and smart home product lines. While development, firmware engineering, and corporate strategy remain anchored in Bulgaria and Germany, hardware assembly and manufacturing are outsourced to specialized electronics manufacturing partners in China.
