Sakura Shoyu Soy Sauce

Sakura Shoyu is one of the most recognizable soy sauce brands in Brazil. It was founded in 1940 by Japanese immigrant Suekichi Nakaya in São Paulo, who began producing soy sauce and miso to serve the growing Japanese community in Brazil.

Over the decades, Sakura Nakaya Alimentos grew into a leading manufacturer of Asian food products, condiments, and sauces in the country. The company remains an independent Brazilian business owned and managed by the founding Nakaya family, operating manufacturing facilities in the state of São Paulo.
