Unox Snert / Erwtensoep

Unox is a classic Dutch food brand famous for its winter warmer foods, especially rookworst (smoked sausage) and hearty canned soups such as erwtensoep (traditional Dutch split pea soup, also known as snert). The brand was established in 1937 by Unilever (originally Unilever's meat division, deriving name elements from Unilever / Oss).

Unox soups and meat products intended for the Dutch market are primarily produced in the Netherlands, notably at facilities such as the historic meat processing site in Oss, North Brabant (operating via production partnerships such as Zwanenberg Food Group for Unilever).

Unox is owned by the multinational consumer goods company Unilever PLC, which is headquartered in London, United Kingdom. In the Netherlands, Unox operates directly under Unilever Nederland.
