Wasa Sandwich Tomato & Basil Flavour is a popular filled crispbread snack featuring whole grain rye pockets with a savory tomato and basil cream filling.

The Wasa brand traces its roots back to 1919 when Karl Edvard Lundström founded AB Skellefteå Spisbrödsfabrik in Skellefteå, Sweden, later relocating to Filipstad under the name Wasabröd. It grew to become the world's largest producer of crispbread.

In 1999, the brand was acquired by Barilla, the renowned Italian multinational food company headquartered in Parma, Italy. Wasa products are manufactured primarily at Barilla's crispbread bakeries in Filipstad (Sweden) and Celle (Germany), with many filled sandwich crispbread lines being produced at the Celle facility.
