Bresso is a well-known brand of herb-infused cream cheeses and fresh specialty cheese spreads widely distributed across European supermarket shelves, including selected retail outlets and specialty stores in Italy.

Originally created and established in Germany by the Edelweiss dairy company, Bresso quickly gained widespread popularity across Central and Western Europe for its distinctive whipped texture and characteristic blend of Mediterranean herbs and garlic.

Today, Bresso is owned by the French dairy giant Savencia Fromage & Dairy (formerly Groupe Bongrain), one of the world's leading specialty cheese manufacturers headquartered in Viroflay, France. In Germany, the brand continues to be operated and manufactured by Edelweiss GmbH & Co. KG, a subsidiary of the Savencia group.
