Merida Crossway

Merida Crossway is one of the most recognized lines of cross and hybrid bicycles available on the European and Polish cycling markets. Designed for versatile commuting, touring, and light recreational off-road riding, the Crossway series combines durable frame engineering with comfortable geometry suitable for paved roads and dirt tracks alike.

The Merida brand was founded in 1972 by Ike Tseng in Yuanlin, Taiwan. Tseng established Merida Industry Co., Ltd. with the ambition of proving that Taiwanese manufacturing could deliver world-class bicycle quality and innovation. Over the decades, Merida grew into one of the world's largest bicycle manufacturers, designing and manufacturing bicycles both under its own label and as an OEM partner for other leading global cycling brands.

Today, Merida bikes are developed with extensive research and development input from Merida's European R&D facility in Germany, while core frame manufacturing and assembly remain centered in Taiwan and related Asian manufacturing hubs. The brand is distributed in Poland through Merida Polska Sp. z o.o., ensuring strong retail availability, warranty coverage, and component support across the country.
