KP Roasted Peanuts

KP Snacks is a quintessential British snack brand renowned for its wide variety of crisps and nuts. The brand's origin dates back to 1853, when Kenyon & Son was founded in Rotherham, England, initially trading in sugar confectionery, jam, and pickles before adopting the initials 'KP' (Kenyon Produce) in the 1940s and introducing roasted peanuts in 1953.

While the raw peanuts are sourced from agricultural regions worldwide such as Argentina and the United States, KP's roasting, seasoning, and packaging processes primarily take place in the United Kingdom, notably at the KP Snacks nut production facility in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

Today, KP Snacks operates as a subsidiary of the Intersnack Group, a major privately owned European snack food manufacturer headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany. Intersnack acquired KP Snacks from United Biscuits in December 2012, cementing its standing in the UK savoury snacks market.
