Bisca cookies and biscuits

Bisca is one of Denmark's most renowned bakeries, specializing in biscuits, cookies, and cakes. The history dates back to 1890 when baker L. Jensen founded Karen Volf in Hellerup, while the Bisca name was introduced in 1952 by Jensen & Møller. Over the decades, these heritage Danish bakery traditions merged under the Bisca name.

Today, Bisca's production is centralized in Stege on the island of Møn, Denmark, where its large bakery facility produces classic treats such as butter cookies, marzipan cakes, and digestives for both the Danish domestic market and export markets.

Bisca A/S was previously acquired by the Nordic private equity fund Accent Equity and later Norwegian conglomerate Orkla, before becoming part of the Norwegian investment and industrial holding company Scandza in 2011. In 2018, Scandza was acquired by the private equity firm Jordanes AS, which is headquartered in Oslo, Norway. Therefore, the ultimate owner of Bisca is Jordanes AS.
