Misia Mineral Water

Acqua Misia is a natural mineral water sourced from the slopes of the central Apennines in Umbria, Italy. It springs in the municipality of Sellano (in the province of Perugia), a protected natural area known for its pristine waters and natural hydrology.

The brand originated under the local bottling operations in Umbria and became part of Società Sanpellegrino (part of Nestlé's water division) for several years. In 2007, Nestlé/Sanpellegrino agreed to divest Acqua Misia (along with other local sources like Fonte Limpia and the Sellano bottling plant) to the Italian food and beverage group Nuova Presenzano S.r.l. (part of the Gruppo Togni/Fonte Tavina family networks). Today, Misia is bottled and commercialized primarily within central and southern Italy, serving both retail and food service segments.

All bottling and packaging of Acqua Misia take place directly at the source in Sellano (Perugia), Italy, ensuring strict compliance with Italian and European natural mineral water standards.
